Our products are specified by leading architects, designers and commercial clients across Australia and internationally.
We're seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Area Manager to lead our Queensland sales team and continue building Woven Image's presence across one of Australia's fastest-growing construction and design markets.
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales leader who is passionate about developing people, building strong customer partnerships and leveraging established relationships within the Queensland Architecture & Design (A&D) community to drive specification and project success.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager Sales - Woven Image/Martini, you will lead the Queensland sales team and drive growth across the state through strategic customer engagement, specification influence and commercial excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Queensland sales strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability, market share and customer retention across the Woven Image portfolio.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team, establishing clear performance expectations, regular coaching rhythms and a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen and expand relationships within the Queensland Architecture & Design (A&D) community, key accounts, contractors and commercial stakeholders to influence specifications and secure long-term business growth.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, market analysis, customer insights and consultative selling practices that deliver commercial value.
- Leverage sales, customer and market data to forecast performance, manage budgets, monitor pipeline activity and drive informed commercial decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, Operations and Customer Service teams to support new product introductions, customer solutions and strategic business initiatives.
- Champion sales excellence by driving CRM discipline, ensuring compliance with company policies and WHSE requirements, and representing Woven Image at industry events, networking forums and key customer engagements throughout Queensland.
- Proven Sales Leadership - Extensive experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams, creating a culture of accountability, engagement and achievement.
- Strong A&D Industry Networks - Established relationships within Queensland's Architecture & Design community, with a strong understanding of specification sales and influencing project outcomes through architects, designers and key decision-makers.
- Commercial & Strategic Acumen - Demonstrated success developing and executing growth strategies, managing budgets and driving profitable business performance.
- Customer & Relationship Focus - Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships, negotiate effectively and secure long-term commercial value.
- Data-Driven Decision Making - Strong analytical capability with experience leveraging CRM systems, sales data and market insights to drive performance and identify opportunities.
- Collaborative & Innovative Mindset - A proactive leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about delivering customer-focused solutions, sustainability initiatives and new product opportunities.
