Worksforyou Australia
Worksforyou Australia is currently recruiting experienced and motivated plant operators for a range of upcoming projects across Wagga Wagga.
We are seeking reliable workers with experience operating mobile plant and heavy machinery. You do not need to hold every ticket listed below to apply, a combination of relevant experience, licenses and a strong work ethic will be highly regarded.
Available Plant Operating Experience
Experience operating any of the following would be advantageous:
- Excavators
- Front-end loaders
- Skid steers
- Rollers
- Moxy/dump trucks
- HR trucks
Additional Tickets and Qualifications
The following tickets and qualifications are highly desirable, but not all are essential:
- White Card
- HR license
- Dogging ticket
- Silica awareness
- Asbestos awareness
- Relevant plant and machinery tickets
- Site or industry-specific qualifications
If you have experience on one or more types of machinery, we encourage you to apply. Training, induction and site requirements will vary depending on the role and project.
About the Roles
Successful applicants may be offered work across a variety of civil, construction, landscaping, infrastructure, quarry, agriculture or earthmoving projects. Positions may include short-term, long-term and ongoing opportunities, depending on your experience, availability and the needs of our clients.
Typical duties may include:
- Safely operating mobile plant and machinery
- Loading, moving and levelling materials
- Supporting civil, construction or earthmoving crews
- Completing pre-start checks and basic equipment inspections
- Following site safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Working effectively as part of a professional site team
About You
We are looking for people who are:
- Experienced in operating plant or heavy vehicles
- Reliable, punctual and available for project work
- Safety-focused and committed to following site procedures
- Physically fit and capable of working in an active site environment
- Willing to complete site inductions and meet client requirements
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, hardworking and prepared to represent Worksforyou Australia positively
You do not need to have experience across every machine or hold every ticket. If you have some relevant experience and are keen to work, we would like to hear from you.
