We’re looking for an experienced Barista to join our team at Bee Keen Café Knox.
This role is best suited to someone who is already confident running a busy coffee section independently and can maintain speed, quality and consistency during peak service. This is not an entry-level barista position.

About the Role
- Independently manage a busy coffee section during service
- Produce consistently high-quality espresso coffee at speed
- Dial in and adjust grinders when required
- Texture milk correctly and confidently pour latte art for dine-ins
- Manage multiple coffee orders efficiently during peak periods
- Provide warm, attentive service and build strong relationships with regular customers
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to keep service flowing
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked coffee station
- Assist with opening, closing and general café operations as required
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has proven barista experience in a busy, high-volume café
- Can confidently run the coffee section without supervision
- Has strong espresso, milk-texturing and latte-art skills
- Understands the importance of both coffee quality and service speed
- Stays calm, organised and focused during busy periods
- Is reliable, efficient and takes genuine pride in their work
- Communicates well and works positively as part of a team
Only applicants with proven experience independently managing a busy, high-volume coffee section will be considered.
Pay: based on relevant experience and demonstrated capability.
Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
