About the Role
Electrotek Qld is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Electrician to join our professional team on the Brisbane & Redcliffe.
You’ll be leading site crews across major commercial and multi-residential high-rise projects, ensuring quality workmanship, compliance, and safety on every job.
We’re looking for someone who already has proven success in a leading hand or supervisory role and wants to bring their expertise to a company known for technical excellence, strong leadership, and career stability.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and coordinate electrical teams on commercial and multi-residential projects
· Oversee daily site operations, safety compliance, and quality assurance
· Perform hands-on electrical work to the highest industry standards
· Mentor apprentices and support team development
· Liaise with project managers, builders, and other trades to maintain smooth workflow
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently
What You’ll Bring
· Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Leading Hand or Site Supervisor
· 5+ years’ total electrical experience in commercial or multi-residential work
· Current QLD Electrical Licence and full Australian work rights
· Excellent technical knowledge of electrical codes and systems
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
· A proactive attitude and commitment to safety and team success
Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
