About the Role:
Join Barmera Health Services as an Administration Officer and play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer-focused support to patients, residents, staff, and visitors across the Riverland Mallee Coorong Region. What We're Looking For:
Essential Criteria
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, community members, and staff at all levels.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Demonstrated experience in administrative and clerical support, including accurate data entry and record management.
High-level computer proficiency and knowledge of office systems, customer databases, quality assurance practices, and information management processes.
Desired Criteria
Experience working in a healthcare administration environment, particularly with medical records and health service systems.
Knowledge of medical terminology, primary healthcare principles, and relevant government policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare administration software, with an understanding of safe work practices and funding processes.
