Join the Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) and play a key role in supporting one of Australia’s most important national research infrastructure programs. As Program Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving program systems, data quality, reporting, and operational dashboards that provide critical insights into program performance.
Working closely with the Program Manager and a collaborative team, you will ensure accurate and reliable information flows across the program, support effective decision-making, and help drive continuous improvement in systems and processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and analytical professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Licences
Completion of a qualification in business administration, project support, data analytics, or a related field, with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training

The Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) is a national collaborative research infrastructure, supported by the Australian Government (http://imos.org.au/). It is operated as an unincorporated joint venture, with the University of Tasmania as Lead Agent. IMOS provides a national, multi institutional capability to undertake systematic and sustained observing of the marine environment, from the open ocean onto the continental shelf and into the coast, and across physical, chemical and biological variables. The IMOS program is implemented through a national portfolio of over 60 platform and technology-based Facilities. IMOS observations and data streams are discoverable and accessible via the Australian Ocean Data Network team within IMOS. Additional data is incorporated into this network from a wide range of partner organisations including research institutions, federal and state government departments, and private industry to enhance data access for the marine science community.
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $116,872 comprising base salary within the range of $92,120 to $99,891 plus 17% superannuation.
