Human Resources Consultant (ASO5) Temporary Full Time up to 2 April 2027
Senior HR Consultant (ASO6) Ongoing Full Time
Join our People and Culture team and play a key role in supporting a high-performing healthcare workforce. We are seeking experienced and motivated professionals to fill opportunities at both Human Resource Consultant and Senior Human Resource Consultant level.

About the Roles
Human Resource Consultant
Working as part of the HR Advisory team, you will partner with the Principal HR Business Partner to provide contemporary HR advice and support across workforce planning and employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, retention, redeployment, performance, organisational change, classification and non-compensable injury management.
Senior Human Resource Consultant
Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, you will provide expert strategic and operational HR consultancy to executive and senior leaders. You will lead complex workforce initiatives, influence HR practices and policy, support organisational development and provide guidance on sensitive employee relations matters.

We are seeking collaborative and solutions-focused HR professionals who build trusted relationships, exercises sound judgement and delivers practical outcomes in a complex environment.
Human Resource Consultant - ASO5
Experience providing HR advisory services across employee relations, recruitment, performance management and workforce initiatives.
Ability to manage competing priorities and provide clear, practical advice on sensitive matters.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to support leaders through change.
Knowledge of SA Public Sector employment frameworks, legislation, awards and related workforce policies.
Senior Human Resource Consultant - ASO6
Significant experience delivering strategic HR consultancy and leading complex employee relations and organisational development initiatives.
Proven ability to influence decision-making and build capability through effective business partnering.
Demonstrated leadership, analytical and problem-solving capability to manage complex and politically sensitive matters.
Extensive experience interpreting and applying employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and HR frameworks.
Experience developing initiatives, programs, policies or training that strengthen workforce capability and business outcomes.
Desirable: Experience within healthcare, including Medical Officer workforce support, knowledge of visa and immigration processes and public sector grievance procedures, and relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
