What you will do
As warehousing officer, you will provide important support services that help the prison operate each day.
You will work across stores, finance, administration and prisoner services while supporting a safe and respectful workplace.
You will:
-
provide accurate stores, finance and administration support
-
maintain reliable stock control, purchasing records and inventory systems
-
supervise prisoner workers while supporting safe canteen and shop operations
-
complete timely data entry, reporting and records management
-
work respectfully with colleagues while supporting daily prison operations.
Note: This position may involve weekend and public holiday work
About you
You should have well-developed computer skills. Experience with Oracle or a similar finance system, along with stores or warehouse operations, is desirable.
You should also have:
-
strong computer and data entry skills
-
sound knowledge of policies, procedures and relevant legislation
-
good communication and problem-solving skills
-
respectful teamwork and a commitment to inclusion.
