About the Role:
As a Commis Chef, you’ll play a key role in our culinary team, creating quality dishes that exceed guest expectations. You will:
- Prepare and present food to a consistently high standard.
- Work efficiently to meet service deadlines in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Uphold strict hygiene, food safety, and workplace health & safety standards.
- Support the team by assisting with special requests and menu changes.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture.
About You:
You’re passionate about food and eager to grow your culinary career. You’ll bring:
- A valid Food Safety Certificate (essential).
- Technical cooking knowledge across a range of techniques and styles.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- The ability to thrive in a busy, service-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Reliable transport (preferred due to location).
