Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our Sydney team and assist in delivering business transformation, automation and analytics solutions to our clients.
About the Role
As an ICT Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists to identify business needs, analyse processes and deliver innovative technology solutions that drive operational improvement and business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and requirement validation sessions.
- Perform AS-IS and TO-BE business process analysis.
- Prepare business requirements documents, functional specifications and process documentation.
- Liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support user acceptance testing and solution implementation activities.
- Assist with digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor solution performance and support continuous improvement activities.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field.
- Minimum one year of relevant experience in business analysis, systems analysis or related ICT roles.
- Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements.
- Experience preparing business requirements documents, functional specifications and process documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience supporting enterprise software, digital transformation or process improvement projects.
Desirable Requirements
- Postgraduate qualifications in Business Analytics, Information Systems or related disciplines.
- Experience with enterprise analytics, automation or business intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience supporting digital transformation and business improvement initiatives.
