This well-run apprenticeship & training program needs the right person to own it. If you are a Training Coordinator ready to take the next step, Peter Warren Automotive has the perfect role waiting for you.
About the role
You will step into a program that already has strong foundations, with the benefit of a structured handover that sets you up to lead with confidence from day one, before making the role genuinely your own.
You will also:
- Take ownership of apprenticeship and training program delivery across Southwest Sydney, the North Shore, Western Sydney, Southern Sydney, and Central West NSW, with some support extended to Victoria
- Manage apprentice recruitment, onboarding, and milestone progression across a network large enough to keep the work varied and meaningful
- Maintain and develop relationships with registered training organisations, TAFE providers, and industry bodies to keep the program current and compliant
- Partner with dealership and service department managers across multiple sites to align training delivery with operational priorities
- Use reporting and tracking data to identify where apprentices need additional support and where the program can be strengthened
- Contribute to broader workforce development initiatives as part of the People, Culture and Safety team, growing your exposure to HR strategy at a group level
About You
You have been coordinating training programs long enough to know how they work, and now you are ready for the autonomy and accountability that comes with managing one.
More about you:
- Solid experience as a Training Coordinator or similar, with a clear readiness to step into a program management role
- Confidence coordinating across multiple sites and juggling competing priorities without losing the detail
- A working knowledge of the Australian apprenticeship framework, including compliance obligations and funding requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, whether you are speaking with a workshop supervisor, a TAFE trainer, or a senior leader
- Experience maintaining accurate training records, managing contracts, and producing meaningful reports
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent is highly regarded, as is a background in automotive, trades, or a similarly technical environment
The benefits
This is a rare chance to walk into a role with scope, structure, and the support of an organisation that understands the value of getting workforce development right.
Benefits include:
- A permanent, full-time position with one of Australia's largest automotive dealer groups, offering genuine job security and long-term career potential
- A structured handover period that gives you the context and relationships to lead the program with confidence
- Real autonomy to put your own mark on an established program across a significant multi-site network
- A supportive People, Culture and Safety team where your ideas about program improvement will be heard
- Staff benefits including vehicle purchase discounts across a wide range of prestige and volume brands
- Warwick Farm base with easy access to major road and motorway connections across Southwest Sydney
