About Alinta Energy
At Alinta Energy, we’re taking real action to deliver affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for Australia. You’ll work on challenges that matter, alongside people who are approachable, supportive and invested in your growth, in a business where your contribution is visible from day one.
Big careers start with real experience
Ready to step into a role where you’re working with real data, real stakeholders and real sustainability challenges? Kick-start your career in sustainability reporting in an industry that’s evolving fast and plays a critical role in the transition to a lower-carbon future.
As a Sustainability Analyst Graduate, you’ll join our Corporate Affairs, Governance and Sustainability team in a permanent role from day one, gaining hands-on experience in a large and complex energy business. Rather than sitting in a purely academic or theoretical space, you’ll see how sustainability is applied in practice and how it connects across the organisation.
This is a reporting-led role at the intersection of multiple functions including strategy, risk, data and operations. While you won’t sit directly in those teams, you’ll work closely with them to gather, interpret and validate data that shapes how the business reports and communicates its sustainability performance. Over two years, you’ll build a strong foundation in sustainability reporting, ESG frameworks and data analysis, while developing stakeholder engagement and communication capability.
You’ll start your graduate journey in Melbourne, spending your first week meeting your cohort, pulling on some hi-vis to explore our Melbourne sites, and listening in on real customer calls at our contact centre.
