We’re excited to be recruiting Deli Managers across our existing Melbourne delis and upcoming new locations.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for experienced hospitality leaders ready to step into our most senior deli role and grow with the Hector’s team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Deli Manager (DM) is the most senior leader within the deli.
You are responsible for the overall performance of the venue — team, culture, guest experience, food quality and financial results. You set the tone. You hold the standards. You drive the results.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll lead from the floor, coach in real time, and build a strong, accountable team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and developing a high-performing FOH & BOH team
Owning sales performance and cost control
Rostering effectively and managing productivity
Driving exceptional guest experience and service standards
Maintaining food quality, presentation and brand consistency
Hiring, onboarding and managing performance of team members
Upholding food safety, cleanliness and compliance standards
Working closely with Operations to execute initiatives and improve performance

ABOUT YOU
Previous venue management experience required
Minimum 1 year in a Venue/Restaurant Manager role
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of financial drivers
A product-first mindset with no desire to cut corners
Calm, solution-focused and confident in holding standards
Passionate about food and delivering consistently great guest experiences
You lead with clarity. You care about the details. You build teams that people want to be part of.
