Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.
Venues NSW takes an intergrated approach to our stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies and community groups. ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of maintenance and preparation of the venue ahead of events at Accor Stadium ensuring operation is of highest standards for clients, service departments, tenants and guests. The role involves overseeing and monitoring contracted services to ensure compliance with Venues NSW standards, coordinating activities to maintain asset performance, planning resource allocation for events, and supervising contractors and staff. The role also contributes to developing management plans for buildings and assets, assisting with projects, reviewing service contracts, and ensuring all operations align with Venues NSW’s best interests and objectives.
ABOUT YOU
You are a proactive and hands-on facilities professional with demonstrated experience coordinating building operations, contractors and maintenance services. You have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment. With a commitment to safety, compliance and exceptional customer service, you build positive relationships with stakeholders and contractors while ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standard. You are a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach to delivering operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications/experience in relevant area of profession or;
- Extensive knowledge & experience in:
- Contractor management
- Facility soft and hard services
- On-line Monitoring and Control Technology
- Frontline Management experience or qualifications
