Digital Metro North is the technology and digital delivery arm of Metro North Health, Australia's largest hospital and health service. The team works closely with clinicians and partners including eHealth Queensland to deliver the systems, infrastructure and support that enable safe, high-quality patient care every day.
Driving a significant digital transformation agenda, Digital Metro North is currently implementing the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) across the health service, delivering major digital initiatives under the Queensland Government's Hospital Rescue Plan, and executing the three-year Digital Delivery Plan. These programs are shaping a connected, digital-first healthcare environment that supports new models of care, improves patient outcomes and enhances clinician experience.
About the Role
Reporting to the Delivery Stream Lead, Digital Portfolio Services there is a rare opportunity to lead complex, system-wide digital initiatives that directly improve patient outcomes and service efficiency at scale. Working with executive stakeholders, innovative technologies and care models, you will contribute to the delivery of digital solutions that redefine how healthcare is delivered across Metro North Health.

This role is full time with the standard hours of operation being 8:00am - 4:06pm, Monday to Friday.
Flexible working arrangements such as variable working hours, working from home and flex accrual may be supported.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
Manage the planning and delivery of medium to large-scale digital and ICT projects ensuring alignment with planning techniques, standards, project management methodologies and frameworks.
Lead the delivery of digital projects ensuring financial, governance, assurance, benefits management, lessons learned, risk and issue management, change and performance management are applied throughout the digital project management lifecycle.
Develop detailed project plans and schedules, taking into consideration multiple site deployments, data migration, procurement, training, testing, business and ICT change activities required to successfully deliver digital projects and transition digital solutions to operational environments.
Lead, monitor and report on project related trends and delivery performance against project plan baselines and agreed tolerances, ensuring digital projects continue to be delivered against time, quality, cost, scope and benefits realisation.
Lead, manage and deliver quality project governance and reporting to support effective decision-making and transparency for project boards and higher executive governance groups
Lead and manage the day-to-day delivery of digital projects ensuring effective management of resources, expenses, budget costs and forecasts are maintained ensuring project outcomes are achieved and delivery of robust digital solutions that meet customer needs.
