A well-established contractor delivering projects across infrastructure, construction, and utilities sectors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Queensland operations. The business has built a strong reputation through consistent project delivery, long-term client relationships, and a collaborative team culture.
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming work, an opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through to completion.
You will be responsible for managing project delivery across safety, quality, cost, and program outcomes while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from award through to completion
- Develop and maintain project programs, budgets, and forecasts
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Monitor project performance against budget and schedule
- Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards
- Manage client communication and stakeholder relationships
- Identify and mitigate project risks and delivery issues
- Prepare progress reports and project documentation
- Support procurement and commercial activities where required
About You
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within construction, infrastructure, or utilities
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
Desirable Experience
- Civil infrastructure or utilities exposure
- Water/wastewater, transport, or infrastructure project experience
- Experience managing self-perform or subcontractor delivery models
- Relevant engineering or construction qualification
