Lead the PMO and delivery function for MAISQ, driving strategic programs that support Queensland's CTP and injury insurance schemes. This role offers the opportunity to influence system reform, uplift delivery capability and oversee complex program portfolios spanning technology, business systems and reporting. Working with senior stakeholders, you will guide governance, delivery and benefits realisation to meet current and future organisational needs.
In this role, you will:
Lead and manage the delivery of strategic programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities
Oversee PMO governance, reporting and performance evaluation using contemporary agile methodologies
Coordinate interdependencies across multiple initiatives and teams to achieve program outcomes
Build and lead high performing multidisciplinary teams and manage external contractors
Manage program resources, budgets and delivery risks to meet scope, time and quality requirements
Strengthen portfolio and project management capability across the organisation
Lead stakeholder engagement and represent MAISQ in cross-agency initiatives
Oversee information management, data quality and reporting from insurers and internal systems
Ensure systems and platforms support regulatory, risk and claims management requirements
Provide expert advice on cyber security, data privacy and risk to senior leadership
What experience you will bring:
Proven ability to lead and deliver ICT and business change programs within scope and budget
Experience in PMO functions including governance, reporting and capability uplift using agile approaches
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills across complex environments
Knowledge of business systems, data management and digital transformation opportunities
Ability to make and influence quality decisions in strategic planning, risk and issue management
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
