The Service Delivery Manager (Fleet, Equipment and Clothing) is responsible for leading VICSES’ end-to-end service delivery and volunteer-facing functions across fleet, operational equipment and clothing. This role exists to uplift volunteer experience, improve service consistency, and ensure VICSES members, regions and internal business partners have timely, accurate and coordinated information in relation to fleet assets, deliveries, inductions and support services.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The role leads two integrated service streams:
Business Support – core administrative and coordination support to the Fleet, Equipment and Clothing teams. The function is responsible for general administration, collation of reporting for internal and external stakeholders, travel management, coordination of deliveries on behalf of the portfolio, and the central management and distribution of the team's SysAid ticketing system. The function ensures technical teams are supported to focus on delivery by removing administrative burden, improving information flow, and maintaining clear oversight of service demand and workload.
Service Delivery – focused on delivering a high-quality, consistent service experience for volunteers while ensuring internal business partners have the accurate, timely information required to effectively support operations and decision-making. The function is responsible for the coordination of fleet asset deliveries, handover and induction of members into fleet, equipment and clothing, and for developing and maintaining induction materials and instructional content, including guides and videos. The function leads continuous service improvement initiatives that strengthen member capability, improve service consistency, and enhance the overall volunteer experience.

Victoria State Emergency Service is a volunteer-based emergency service. Our highly skilled and equipped Volunteers are trained comprehensively in a wide range of emergency environments. To minimise the impact of emergencies when they occur and strengthen the community's capacity to recover swiftly and safely, VICSES focuses on working with communities and partners in building resilience to achieve more aware, informed and prepared communities. We support them to understand their risk and the relevance of taking action before, during and after emergency events.
As the largest road rescue network in Australia we have specialist teams that provide a 24/7 response to road accident and trauma incidents. We assist Victoria Police in search and rescue operations, and play an important role in supporting the Country Fire Authority, Fire Rescue Victoria, Parks Victoria and the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action during major bushfire and emergency incidents.
