We are growing our network of qualified collectors across Queensland, NSW & Victoria and are looking for passionate healthcare professionals to join us from the ground up.
About the role
As a Pathology Collector with Nura Health, you will be responsible for visiting patients at their homes to carry out blood and specimen collections. You will work independently, managing your own schedule and runs via our dedicated collector app, while upholding the highest standards of patient care and specimen integrity.
- Travel to patients' homes to perform blood and specimen collections
- Ensure accurate patient identification, labelling, and documentation
- Handle and transport specimens in accordance with pathology standards
- Deliver specimens to nominated pathology drop-off points in a timely manner
- Maintain a professional, caring approach, particularly with elderly or vulnerable patients
- Use our collector app to manage bookings, routes, and collection records
$25 – $30 per collection Plus motor vehicle allowance · Pay based on experience, earnings increase with volume.
What we're looking for
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection (essential)
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on blood and specimen collection experience
- Confident, empathetic manner with patients, particularly elderly or anxious individuals
- Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to specimen integrity
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
- Smartphone capable of running our collector app (iOS or Android)
