The Sebel Melbourne Docklands
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendants to join our team at The Sebel Melbourne Docklands.
Unlike a standard hotel room, our property consists of fully equipped serviced apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, located across multiple buildings within the Docklands precinct. We are looking for team members who take pride in cleanliness, work efficiently and can consistently deliver rooms to a high standard.
About the Role
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your main responsibility is to ensure our guest apartments are spotlessly clean, well presented and fully prepared according to our housekeeping standards.
You will be responsible for both stayover services and departure cleans. As our apartments vary in size and layout, you will need to work efficiently and complete each apartment within the allocated cleaning time while maintaining our required cleanliness and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service 1, 2 and 3-bedroom serviced apartments to the hotel's required standard
- Complete assigned rooms within the allocated cleaning time without compromising cleanliness or quality
- Make beds, clean bathrooms, kitchens and living areas, vacuum/mop floors and dust surfaces
- Replenish linen, towels, guest amenities and other apartment supplies
- Check apartments carefully to ensure they are spotless and guest-ready before completion
- Clean and maintain corridors and other assigned public areas
- Maintain housekeeping trolleys, equipment and supplies in a clean and organised manner
- Report maintenance issues, damages and lost property promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Respond to reasonable guest requests when required
- Follow safe procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist the wider Housekeeping team with other duties when required

We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in presenting a clean room
- Can work efficiently and manage their time well
- Is physically comfortable with a hands-on housekeeping role
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Can follow instructions and housekeeping standards consistently
- Is available to work across weekdays as required
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 38.0 per week
