Eddie is a creative studio based in Murwillumbah, Northern NSW. We work across branding, websites, illustration, interiors, photography, videography, animation and social media, partnering with businesses to create thoughtful, strategic and visually engaging work.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Mid-Weight Brand & Digital Designer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.
This role is perfect for someone who loves variety. As a small, fast-paced creative studio, no two days are ever the same.
One day you might be developing a brand identity, the next illustrating packaging, designing a Squarespace website, creating social media content, brainstorming campaign ideas, scheduling content for a client or preparing artwork for print.
Because we’re a small business, we’re looking for someone who enjoys thinking on their feet and isn’t afraid to jump between different types of projects. We value people who are proactive, adaptable and happy to contribute wherever needed.
You’ll work closely with our creative director contributing ideas from concept through to final delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing brand identities and visual systems
- Graphic design across print and digital
- Layout design for presentations, publications, signage and marketing collateral
- Creating social media graphics and digital content
- Illustrating custom artwork and graphics
- Assisting with content planning and creative ideation
- Social media scheduling assistance for selected clients
- Designing and updating Squarespace websites
- Collaborating on select photo and video shoots
- Preparing artwork for print and production
- Working across a diverse range of industries and clients
Essential Skills
- Strong branding and visual design skills
- Excellent graphic design, layout and typography
- Illustration
- A good understanding of social media, content creation and digital trends
- Ability to design with both the client and end consumer in mind
- Strong understanding of composition, colour and visual hierarchy
- Confident using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
- Squarespace experience (or willingness to learn)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Bonus Skills
- Strategic thinking
- Project management experience
- Copywriting or an understanding of tone of voice and messaging
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Motion graphics

You’re organised, collaborative and proactive. You enjoy contributing ideas, solving creative problems and working alongside a team that genuinely loves what they do.
