Description:
At Green Leaves Early Learning, we're growing - with 76 purpose-built Centres across Australia and more on the way. We're dedicated to creating premium environments where children, families and our Team Members thrive, with our Commitment to Child Safety at the forefront of everything we do.
Behind every Centre is a Support Office team that keeps a national network running. Our Finance Team of 12 - including dedicated payroll and accounts payable functions - sits at the centre of that, and we're now looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join them.
This is a rare opportunity to step into an established role with strong leadership. You will be working closely with our Financial Controller, CFO and broader accounting team, playing a key part in the next chapter of Green Leaves' national growth.
Your Impact
You will be responsible for playing a key role in the management of the well-established accounting function, including:
Own a state-based portfolio of Centres end to end - full detailed Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and general ledger reconciliations, including preparation of all month-end journals.
Contribute to the consolidated monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
Support the audit of the Group's year-end Financial Statements.
Support the Group's compliance obligations, including GST, Income Tax and ABS surveys.
Manage all insurance related matters including new policies, renewals and claims.
Support the accounts payable team, by providing guidance on queries and reviewing fortnightly payments.
Deliver weekly KPI reporting that Operations and Senior Leadership rely on to make decisions.
Partner with Centre Managers, Operations and Support Office teams on financial queries, translating the numbers into something genuinely useful to a non-finance audience.
Drive continuous improvement of our internal controls and processes as the network scales.
Take on special projects as our growth creates them.

5+ years' experience across financial accounting and reporting, ideally including multi-site or multi-entity environments.
