The School
Coastal Lakes College (CLC) located in Lakelands, a south-western suburb of Perth in the City of Mandurah, opened in 2019 and caters for students across Years 7 to 12. We are a fast growing and innovative college which also includes an Inclusive Education Hub for students with moderate to complex disabilities. All successful applicants to CLC may potentially teach Inclusive Education students within their learning area.

The Role

Professional knowledge, understandings, and experience to develop and implement an engaging and relevant secondary school Mathematics curriculum will be well regarded. In addition to Mathematics, knowledge, skills and a passion for teaching Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) and/or Science is also highly desirable for this role.
Experience in teaching senior school Mathematics courses – both Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and General, is desirable but not essential. As an expert practitioner you should possess a commitment to excellence in teaching and engage in regular self-reflection. Another key attribute is the ability to create environments conducive to learning and differentiate educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant, catering to different student learning needs.
In this role, the successful applicant will ideally develop innovative classroom practices utilising the college’s cutting-edge Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and should exhibit an understanding of High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS). In this environment you should provide integrated, personalised and authentic learning experiences for students.
