Role Description
The International Students Program Support / Multicultural Aide provides administrative, cultural, and wellbeing support to international students and students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Working under the direction of the International Student Coordinator (ISC) and Assistant Principal (AP), the role assists students and families to engage successfully with the school community while supporting the administration of the International Student Program.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provide targeted support to international and multicultural students to assist their understanding of lesson content, instructions, and classroom routines.

Support students with English language development through clarification, reinforcement of key concepts, and encouragement of classroom participation.

Work with individual students or small groups under the direction of the classroom teacher to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.

Assist students to develop organisational, study, and learning skills that promote independence and academic success.

Support positive student wellbeing and inclusion by helping students build confidence, social connections, and a sense of belonging within the classroom environment.

Provide administrative support to the International Student Program.

Assist international and multicultural students with orientation and transition into school life.

Support communication between students, families, and school staff.

Maintain accurate student records, files, and program documentation.

Monitor attendance and undertake attendance follow-ups as directed.

Follow up invoices, payments, and related documentation.

Arrange meetings, appointments, and wellbeing check-ins for students and families.

Assist with student enrolment, compliance, and program administration requirements.

Undertake any other duties as allocated by the International Student Coordinator (ISC), Assistant Principal (AP), or Principal.
