- Motivated to help establish and grow a new clinical service within Rheumatology.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- Able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Interest in service development, quality improvement, and innovative models of care. Experience in health, rehabilitation, neuropsychology, or hospital settings will be highly regarded.
Applicants currently enrolled in a combined Masters/PhD are eligible to apply if they have completed the equivalent of Masters degree requirements as part of the PhD pathway. Evidence of this is demonstrated by a completed PDEC-76 form and cover letter from the University confirming Masters degree requirements have been met.
Applicants are eligible to apply if they have completed an accredited Masters degree and are awaiting their graduation ceremony. Written confirmation from the University is required.
Successful applicants who have completed the Masters degree or Masters degree requirements and are awaiting full registration from the Psychology Board of Australia will be paid at Year 2 of the Psychologist Scale until they have full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, at which point they will commence on Year 1 of the Clinical Psychologist scale.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Please outline your experience in adult clinical neuropsychologicy, including neuropsychological assessment, formulation, interpretation, feedback and report writing. Please include your experience with medically and/or neurologically complex presentations, the clinical populations you have worked with, and the service settigs most relevant to this role.
- This is a new temporary part-time Rheumatology Neuropsychology service. Please outline your experience contributing to service establishment or development, including any relevant experience in quality improvement, research, clinical pathways, referral processes, multidisciplinary collaboration and/or evaluation of service outcomes.
This role will work closely with Rheumatologists and the broader multidisciplinary team. Please outline your experience providing neuropsychological consultation in multidisciplinary health settings, including how you communicate assessment findings and recommendations to support diagnosis, treatment planning, risk management and coordinated patient care.
