IT Services Officer
Provide first and second-level technical support to staff.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues.
Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system.
Maintain service levels and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Support Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and business applications.
Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance activities.
Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, wireless networks, and internet connectivity.
Monitor system performance and availability.
Support backup and disaster recovery processes.
Assist with cybersecurity monitoring and incident response activities.
Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and technology deployments.
Assist with system testing, implementation, and user training.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset registers, and support records.
Ensure compliance with organisational IT policies, security standards, and procedures.
Support audits and governance requirements where applicable.
Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience in IT support or service desk environments.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Identify and report hazards, incidents, and risks.
