We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Barista to join our cafe team!
Position: Barista/All rounder
Employment Type: Casual / Part-time / Full-time
Location: Labrador
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages
- Operate and maintain the coffee machine and grinder
- Take customer orders and provide friendly customer service
- Prepare cold drinks, smoothies, and other cafe beverages as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
- Restock coffee, milk, cups, and other supplies
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Assist the team with general cafe duties when required
Requirements:
- Previous barista or cafe experience preferred
- Good knowledge of coffee preparation and basic latte art
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Positive attitude and strong team-work skills
- Ability to work independently when required
- Weekend availability is an advantage
