We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Permanent Overnight Dishwasher to join our kitchen team at KGF in Brookvale (2100) - Northern Beaches.
Shift Details
- Fixed roster: Sunday to Thursday nights (5 nights per week)
- Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Permanent position
- $ 37.83 per hour + super
About the Role
This is a critical position that plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Working overnight, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment availability to support the kitchen team.
This is a physically demanding role involving repetitive tasks, manual handling, and heavy lifting of up to 25kg. Applicants must be physically fit and capable of working efficiently throughout an overnight shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Operating commercial dishwashing machinery safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dishwashing, kitchen, storage, and waste disposal areas
- Supporting kitchen operations by ensuring clean equipment is available at all times
- Assisting with deep cleaning and general kitchen cleaning duties as required
- Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements
- Following safe manual handling procedures at all times
- Reporting hazards, equipment faults, or incidents to the manager on duty
- Supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Working collaboratively with the wider production team to achieve operational goals
