coordinating participant recruitment and scheduling for the residential monitoring campaign, including liaising directly with householders across Sydney and Melbourne to organise home visits, sensor installation, and follow-up data collection
deploying and maintaining wireless IEQ sensor arrays (temperature, relative humidity, CO₂, TVOC, PM2.5) and collecting biological samples (mould air and surface sampling) across study residences
conducting quantitative data analysis across multi-site time-series IEQ datasets, including clustering, regression, and statistical modelling to identify environmental predictors of mould growth
preparing scientific publications, conference presentations, and project reports for stakeholder audiences
supporting ethics applications, data management protocols, and compliance requirements for human subjects’ research.
About you
We are seeking an exceptional Postdoctoral Research Associate in Healthy Homes who has:
a PhD or near completion in architectural science, building physics, or similar fields.
demonstrated research expertise and an emerging profile in the general IEQ domain, with a focus on healthy buildings
excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence and sensitivity to engage with members of the public in their homes.
The following would also be advantageous:
