Enrolled Nurse – Palliative Care, Wyong Hospital
The Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is looking for committed, professional Enrolled Nurses to provide emotional support to patients and their families during illness and end-of-life care, to deliver quality health care to support our local community.
We have developed opportunities for dedicated Enrolled Nurses to work collaboratively within our New Palliative Care Unit at Wyong Hospital.
About The Opportunity
You will provide compassionate, person-centred nursing care to patients receiving palliative and end-of-life care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role focuses on maintaining comfort, dignity, quality of life, and supporting patients and their families through illness, dying, and bereavement.
You will monitor, assess, and report changes in patients' physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual wellbeing, assist with symptom management, including pain and anxiety. You will assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.

About You
You will bring a strong commitment to high-quality community care and a passion for helping people maintain their health, independence, and dignity. You will have:
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), including qualifications for medication administration (inc. IV).
Experience in palliative care, aged care, oncology, hospice, or community nursing.
- Knowledge of advance care planning and end-of-life care pathways.
Understanding of grief, loss, and bereavement support.
