Our client is a well-established and respected leader in the dairy industry, producing a wide range of high-quality cheese products supplied across Australia and beyond.
Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking experienced Production Workers to join their team on a casual rotating shift basis at their factory located in Northwestern Tasmania.
About the Role
As a Production Worker, you will play an important role in the manufacture and packaging of premium dairy products, including cheese and whey products supplied throughout Australia and international markets.
Key duties include:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery and processing equipment
- Assisting with the manufacture, packaging and handling of cheese and whey products
- Monitoring conveyor systems and transferring products throughout the production process
- Conducting quality checks and reporting any production issues
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Following workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
- Supporting general production and housekeeping activities as required
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, dairy processing, or a factory environment (essential)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and lift up to 20kg
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
