Kitchen Assistant
LillyPilly Early Education Centre in Monash is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team. This role is essential in helping our busy kitchen run smoothly and assist our chef in ensuring children receive healthy and nutritious meals every day.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support our cook and educators by:
- Assisting with food preparation, as required.
- Washing dishes and maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen environment.
- Helping with general kitchen duties and organisation.
- Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an advantage but not essential, the right attitude and willingness to learn are what matters most!
Permanent part time position, Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm with possibility of additional hours for the right candidate.
Applicants must hold a Working with Vulnerable Person Card (WWVP Card).
Pay: From $30.41 per hour
