Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Cabinet Maker to join our team.
About the Role
Working from our Melbourne factory, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality commercial joinery from detailed shop drawings while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble commercial joinery to a high standard.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and production documentation.
- Operate woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools safely.
- Assemble cabinets, reception counters, feature joinery, wall panelling, lockers and custom joinery.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within project deadlines.
- Carry out quality checks before products leave the factory.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the production team and Site Managers.
- Assist with loading completed joinery for delivery when required.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial joinery manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret joinery shop drawings.
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current Australian driver’s licence (preferred).
- Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
