Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient / Core)

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support (BSP) Practitioner with at least 12 months of experience to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Western Sydney.
As a BSP Practitioner, you will work holistically with participants across various age groups to reduce behaviours of concern, work to eliminate restrictive practices, and improve overall quality of life for your participants.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs).
- Develop, implement, and review evidence-based, person-centred Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
- Provide clinical training and support to families, carers, and support networks.
- Write comprehensive, high-quality clinical reports to advocate effectively for your participants' funding and needs within the NDIS framework.
- Collaborate closely with internal multidisciplinary team members and external stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who brings the following:

A minimum of 12 months of experience practicing as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Current registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission: Core or Proficient level preferred.
- Committed to empowering participants, helping families thrive, and utilizing respectful, creative, and evidence-based strategies.
- Ability to work as part of a team and value the holistic insights a multidisciplinary approach brings.
- Strong verbal and written communication with excellent report-writing skills with a proven track record of successfully advocating for participants.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC), and a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
