About the Venues

- Divino Osteria is a refined Italian dining experience in Elizabeth Bay focused on quality ingredients, beautiful pasta, seafood and a curated Italian wine list.
The Roles
We are looking for experienced and passionate Venue/Restaurant Managers and Assistant Managers within the hospitality industry to join our team across our various venues in full-time roles.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the venue
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of passionate hospitality professionals, ensuring high levels of customer service and staff engagement
- Coordinate the procurement and pricing of goods according to restaurant’s budget
- Recruiting/selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
- Taking down reservations, greeting guests and assisting in taking orders as required
We're looking for:
- 2 or more years experience in a similar role in similar quality venues (Experience with Italian cuisine highly desirable)
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing successful strategies to improve efficiency and profitability
- An understanding of (or willingness to learn) premium product and presentation
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams in high pressure environments
- Thorough understanding of hospitality industry regulations, standards, and best practices
- Full permanent Australian working rights (no sponsorship available) and a willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check
