Overview
We are looking for a proficient and responsible Manager of Medical Workforce to lead our team of Medical Liaison Officers responsible for the administration of medical rostering, recruitment of medical staff, locum doctor co-ordination, credentialling and compliance, finance and team administration functions in the Medical Services directorate of Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN).
In this role you will be responsible for:
- overseeing medical rosters across all medical departments within EFNLHN.
- the development and implementation of projects that contribute to the overall efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of business processes and systems within EFNLHN Strategic Plan and Service Level Agreements as per the Chief Executive Officers' Direction.
- assist in the recruitment process of medical staff across the EFNLHN under direction by Executive Director Medical Services (EDMS)
- meeting the need of the EFNLHN Strategic Plan in Medical Services across the region under direction by the EDMS
- the creation and maintenance of an organisation by managing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on performance outcomes against the EFNLHN Strategic Plan and the EFNLHN Service Agreement
- the creation and implementation of functionalities that streamline the Medical Services Workforce and their Administration Supports
- supporting and overseeing the EFNLHN Medical Liaison Officers, who directly report to the Manager of Medical Workforce.
The Manager of Medical Workforce will apply a high level of expertise in order to provide expert advice and consultancy services and will critically analyse and think strategically to identify strategies that relate to operational issues relevant to Medical Services.
