Job Title: Disability Support Worker – Community Access & SIL Supports
Location: City of Moreton Bay, Brisbane and The sunshine coast

Shifts Available: Day, afternoon & sleepover shifts
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Workers (male or female) to join our growing team in the Caboolture area. This role involves supporting participants living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and participating in community activities, with a focus on promoting independence, social engagement, and mental wellbeing.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in empowering participants to live fulfilling and independent lives in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred support tailored to individual participant needs
- Assist with daily living activities, routines, and personal care
- Support mental health and wellbeing, promoting emotional regulation, confidence, and resilience
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies to manage challenging behaviours
- Facilitate community access, social engagement, exercise, and outdoor activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the support team
- Contribute to a safe, stable, and empowering SIL environment
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or similar
- Experience supporting people with mental health conditions or challenging behaviours, ideally in SIL or community-based settings
- Strong communication skills and a person-centred, trauma-informed approach
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check / Blue Card
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Reliable, empathetic, and professional with a genuine passion for supporting others
- Interest in exercise, outdoor activities, and social engagement
- Driver’s licence
