Structured Onboarding
You will participate in our highly regarded onboarding program. This program is designed to welcome you as a new team member and assist you to immerse yourself in our culture, our values and our processes. You will be provided with an opportunity to build a sustainable foundation to launch the next stage of your career pathway from.
Clinical Supervision
You will be provided with regular clinical supervision (weekly or fortnightly depending on experience). Your clinical supervision will encompass the three key areas of:
Development, learning, training
Wellbeing, support, stress management and resilience
Accountability, compliance, assessment and quality assurance
Caseload Management
You will be provided with input into your caseload and the way you deliver it. You will be assisted in finding flow in your week so you can achieve all the things that form part of the service. You will be emboldened to identify your ideal clients from our waitlist. You will be encouraged to gradually develop your range of experience through supported exposure to more complex clients.
Training
You will be provided with a range of training opportunities provided by Eat Speak Learn, our partners and external training organisations. You will be able to access a personalised professional development budget that you control through our rewards system. You will be supported to identify the areas of practice you enjoy and to pursue experience and education in these fields. You will operate under a 70:20:10 learning model that reflects on people gaining:
70% of their knowledge from job-related experiences,
20% from interactions with colleagues; and

Mentoring
You will access a regular fortnightly catch up with a member of the leadership team to help you progress in your career as well as in life. The Role of a Practitioner
Each Practitioner is provided with a space and the resources to allow you to get the best outcomes for the children in your care.
Our client support team looks after all of the paperwork, invoicing and scheduling, leaving you to do what you really love to do.
We have developed simple processes designed to make your work life easy. This includes a user-friendly, online platform with established procedures.
We are an in-clinic service and mobile services are only offered at your discretion. You will be able to use the latest technology to collaborate and communicate with the team to increase efficiency in your day.
Your work day remains within your work day! You are scheduled with time specifically allocated within your day to complete tasks.

Speech Pathology
You will be working with clients with communication and/or feeding needs. You will also be working as part of a team to support children requiring a multidisciplinary approach and coordinated care to achieve their outcomes.
We have a large team of speech pathologists with niche areas of interest including children 0-2 years of age, feeding, social skills, telehealth, AAC and stuttering to name a few. We encourage and support development in the areas that inspire and interest you and can offer the support of at least 3 senior speech practitioners.
This role may also be suitable for someone looking to upskill in AAC, feeding or mentoring.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of client with communication and/or feeding needs,
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to improve communication and/or feeding skills
Provide therapy to patients to improve their communication and/or feeding skills
Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate regularly with other healthcare professionals
Work closely with other members of our multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia or Eligible to be considered for this position.
This role may also be suitable for someone looking to upskill in AAC, feeding or mentoring.
