Role Responsibilities
You are accountable for leading, managing and delivering the strategic and operational direction of Territory Generation’s ICT, OT and
Cyber Security function. This includes full accountability for both day-to-day operation and digital change with clear ownership of service
delivery performance, team effectiveness and delivery outcomes.
Your accountabilities include:
1) Actively lead, manage and be accountable for the performance and outcomes of the ICT group, including delivery of ICT and cyber
security services, operational excellence and achievement of TGen’s objectives.
2) Provide executive level strategic advice to the Board, Chief Executive, Deputy CEO, ELT and senior management on current ICT/OT
capabilities, trends and directions on cyber security, current and future technological capabilities, trends and directions.
3) Develop, maintain and drive enterprise-wide digital and cyber security strategies and multi-year roadmaps, ensuring alignment with
Territory Generation’s strategic objectives, and oversee their implementation across business units through defined mitigation
pathways, systems, and resources spanning ICT and OT environments.
4) Lead and manage the development and delivery of enterprise ICT/OT and cyber security initiatives and projects and the provision of
policies, procedures and practices to provide effective and efficient business and operations systems across the Corporation.
5) Define the required business and financial justification for major business system developments, aligned with the Corporation's
strategic directions, and carry though such projects to implementation stage.
6) Manage Territory Generation’s cyber security risk, being accountable to the CEO and the Board on cyber risk mitigation strategies,
compliance to legislation and cyber security improvement initiatives, and lead the cyber incident response process for all types of
cyber events and incidents in the organisation.
7) Ensure that Territory Generation maintains compliance against critical infrastructure legislation across implemented technologies,
practices and software in ICT and OT environments.
8) Manage the contractual and procedural requirements for the outsourced ICT and cyber security contracts and relationships with the
associated vendors.
9) Ensure the ongoing reliability and resilience of infrastructure across ICT and OT environments.
10) Plan and manage the Technology & Cyber Security budget, lead forecasting, investment prioritisation and benefits realisation.
11) Champion new digital technologies to improve safety, reliability and productivity of process and systems, ensuring ethical, secure and
compliant use of data and better decision making.
12) Maintain and enhance relationships with key stakeholders to project a positive image of Territory Generation internally and
externally.
13) Actively model Territory Generation’s Values and behave in a manner that is consistent with the Code of Conduct in order to drive a
constructive culture.
14) Carry out duties in accordance with Territory Generation’s safety, environmental and quality policies, safety principles, corporate
values and strategies.
Selection Criteria
Essential
1) Proven ability to actively lead and manage ICT teams.
2) Proven ability to provide executive level strategic advice and management on current and future ICT capabilities, trends and
directions.
3) Proven ability to provide executive level strategic advice to the CEO and Board on cyber security issues and cyber risk mitigation
strategies, compliance to legislation and cyber security improvement initiatives.
4) Demonstrated ability to lead and manage the development and implementation of technology and cyber security frameworks,
policies, principles and strategic plans within a technically complex service delivery environment.
5) High level Program and Project Management skills
6) Excellent analytical and creative skills appropriate to making sound judgements on financial matters, risk management and resource
allocation to achieve high level business objectives.
7) Expert executive level knowledge of contemporary issues and initiatives in the areas of ICT systems and cyber security and solutions
relevant to the operations of the Corporation.
8) Practical knowledge and experience of relevant technology and security frameworks such as ISM/IRAP, ITIL, AESCSF, Essential Eight
and cyber security legislation.
9) Superior interpersonal skills particularly in communication, collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution to balance competing
demands and influence outcomes.
10) Ability to carry out duties in accordance with Territory Generation’s safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles,
corporate values and strategies.
Desirable
Relevant tertiary qualification in business, information technology, cyber security or extensive relevant experience.
