Rising Sun Workshop is looking for senior sous chef for our Newtown kitchen.
The succesful candidate will have strong:
Kitchen Management: Oversee daily food preparation, line operations, and presentation standards
Staff Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule line cooks and kitchen apprentices.
Menu Development: Assist the head chef in creating innovative dishes and seasonal menus.
Inventory Control: Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to meet budget goals.
Quality Assurance: Enforce strict health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all stations.
Expediting: Direct the kitchen flow during high-volume service periods to ensure timely delivery.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
