About the opportunity
The SES is seeking an experienced Procurement Governance and Contracts Coordinator to lead the agency’s procurement governance, compliance and reporting functions, ensuring alignment with NSW Government policies. This role oversees procurement accreditation, contract register management and purchasing activities, while developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and category management plans.
The role provides expert, data-driven advice that supports staff across the agency. It requires the ability to navigate complex governance requirements, maintain high levels of accuracy and compliance, and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast paced, stakeholder focused environment.

About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Experience in governance and reporting in Procurement within a complex environment
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of NSW Procurement Framework and policies.
- Experience in using financial tools such as SAP or similar systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise documents
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused mindset
- A commitment to integrity, accountability and continuous improvement
