Key Responsibilities:
- Open morning housekeeping shifts by allocating rooms to Room Attendants using housekeeping management systems.
- Assign trace priorities based on guest needs (e.g., early arrivals, extra bed, baby cots)
- Conduct daily briefings to inform staff of: Guest complaints, Special cleaning tasks (e.g., deep cleaning, high dusting, drainage, disinfecting), Updates on linen and amenities stock
- Supervise and inspect cleaned rooms to ensure brand standards are met
- Identify and correct missed tasks or quality issues
- Monitor staff productivity, manage stayover and checkout room activity logs
- Complete daily shift closing duties, including: Updating room inspection statuses, Reporting to Duty Manager, Preparing occupancy forecasts
- Manage and secure master keys; ensure end-of-shift key handling and locker deposits
- Train and support new team members in procedures and standards
- Work closely with Front Office to respond promptly to guest requests
About You:
- Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory or self-checker role
- Strong leadership, time management, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with hotel property systems (Opera PMS or similar)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Right to work in Australia
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.70 – $50.00 per hour
