Experienced Baker
We are looking for a highly experienced Baker to join our team. The expected start date for this position is September 2026. As part of the bakery team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences and supporting the overall operations of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities :
· Maintaining consistency and quality across all products
· Shaping, mixing and baking a variety of dough. Must be proficient with making Sourdough.
· Working closely with our kitchen and retail teams to meet daily production needs
· Managing stock rotation and ensuring the quality and freshness of raw ingredients.
· Preparing pastry fillings
· Producing baked goods in accordance with daily production schedules and quality standards.
· Decorating the pastry products. Bring ideas, creativity, and a sense of pride to everything you bake.
· Maintaining cleanliness of baking equipment and work areas while ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
· Assisting with inventory control and reporting ingredient requirements to minimise waste.
· Monitoring fermentation, proofing, baking times, oven temperatures, and product quality to ensure consistent results.
The Must-Have Requirements:
· Have at least 1 year of work experience as a baker.
· Have at least a Certificate IV in Baking or equivalent qualification.
· Demonstrated experience in producing artisan breads, including sourdough.
· A passion for quality ingredients, precision, and traditional techniques
· Strong attention to detail and time management
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small, dynamic team
· Early riser attitude and commitment to consistency.
Expected Salary:
The successful candidate will receive a gross annual salary between AUD76,000 to AUD82,000 depending on skills and experience.
