As they continue to scale, they are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to support the commercial team and help drive top-of-funnel growth.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is passionate about sales and eager to kickstart or grow their career in fintech. The Sales Development Representative will play a key role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building the sales pipeline, and booking meetings for the business development team. You’ll work closely with marketing and sales leaders to refine messaging, target the right prospects, and generate interest in the company’s solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate qualified leads
- Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers across core verticals
- Qualify inbound leads and book discovery calls for the sales team
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and lead activity in the CRM (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce)
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with outbound efforts
- Stay up to date on the fintech and payments landscape to tailor messaging effectively
- Support the broader sales team with insights from prospect interactions
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in a sales, lead generation, or customer-facing role (preferably in fintech, SaaS, or tech)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn with a go-getter attitude
- Comfortable with outreach tools and CRM systems
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team
- Passionate about technology and interested in the payments or fintech space
