About Us
With over 85 years of tangible impact, we have carved out our place as a leader in water infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand. Embrace the opportunity to be part of our dynamic team creating the future of water for generations to come. Your expertise and dedication will play a pivotal role in our continued success and be a driving force in our journey towards a water-resilient world.
The Opportunity
As our Design Engineer, you'll work closely with project delivery and bid teams to develop practical and cost effective design solutions for water main projects. From concept design through to construction issue drawings and as-constructed documentation, you'll use your expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD to design and draft water main renewal solutions while balancing safety, constructability, environmental considerations and customer outcomes.
This is an opportunity to influence how projects are delivered by identifying the best construction methodologies, leveraging the latest technologies and collaborating with engineers, project managers and operational teams. If you enjoy combining technical drafting expertise with problem-solving, continuous improvement and a hands-on approach to infrastructure delivery, this is your chance to join a team delivering essential water infrastructure projects that make a lasting impact on communities.
You’ll bring:
-
Relevant engineering degree (civil, mechanical or similar) desirable but not essential
-
Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
-
Construction industry experience, ideally in water infrastructure
-
Strong technical skills
-
Excellent communication skills with a desire to be front facing with the client where required, explaining design solutions
