Disability Support Workers – Brisbane and Surrounding Suburbs QLD
Multiple Shifts Available | Weekdays, Weekends & Inactive Overnight
Assigned Guardian Angel is seeking reliable, compassionate and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team supporting a participant in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs, QLD.
This is a great opportunity for Support Workers looking for regular ongoing hours, with a variety of daytime, evening, weekend and overnight shifts available.
Available Support Hours
We are recruiting Support Workers to assist with a roster that includes:
- Weekday daytime (6:00 AM – 8:00 PM): up to 70 hours per week
- Weekday evening (8:00 PM – 10:00 PM): up to 10 hours per week
- Saturday (6:00 AM – 10:00 PM): up to 16 hours
- Sunday (5:00 AM – 10:00 PM): up to 16 hours
- Inactive overnight (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM): 7 nights per week
Hours will be shared across the support team and individual rosters will depend on availability and participant requirements.
About the Role
Depending on the participant's individual needs, duties may include:
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Personal care and household support
- Community access and appointments
- Social and community participation
- Promoting independence, choice and confidence
- Providing companionship and person-centred support
- Completing progress notes and required documentation
- Following participant support plans and risk management procedures
About You
We are looking for Support Workers who are:
- Reliable, caring, patient and professional
- Available for regular ongoing shifts
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to build positive and respectful rapport
- Flexible across daytime, evening, weekend and/or overnight shifts
- Committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support
Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Relevant disability support experience preferred
- Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability are highly regarded
