family based in Kew, VIC is seeking an experienced, reliable and self-driven nanny to become a long-term part of their household. With demanding medical careers and non-standard hours, the family is looking for someone they can deeply trust to care for their children (Aged 8 yrs and 4yrs) and help manage the home with confidence and initiative.
This is a stable and secure role with guaranteed hours and advance roster planning.
Full Time or Part Time Hours Available..
Shifts fall between Mon - Fri
Full Time hours available for 1 nanny (Most weeks being 35 + hours per week) or the role can be split between 2 nannies to cover the week.
- Shifts are typically 8 10 hours. and start at 6.30/7am most days
- Monday - Wednesday full day, Thurs and Fri Split shift days
Some additional on call hours required and and weekend hours fortnightly
This is a comprehensive nanny role including:

School/pre-school drop-offs and pick-ups

Transporting children to activities

Maintaining consistent routines
-
Reading support (homework support as needed in future)

Caring for the youngest child on non pre-school days and when unwell
Light household duties are part of the role, including:

Laundry and ironing

Changing children s bed sheets weekly (or when required)

Simple meal preparation

Grocery shopping and occasional errands
-
General tidying to help keep the home running smoothly
The family is looking for someone who is:

Comfortable managing both childcare and household responsibilities

5+ years experience as a nanny and proven experience in long term nanny roles

Childcare qualifications preferred

First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (or willingness to refresh)

Valid Working With Children s Check

Confident swimmer (ideal, particularly for water outings)

Full Drivers licence and own vehicle
