Lead safety, risk and operational excellence across one of NSW’s most critical transport networks.
Drive safety culture, operational risk and continuous improvement outcomes across a complex, high-reliability operational environment.
In this role, you'll:
Play a pivotal leadership role in partnering with senior operational leaders to deliver best-practice safety, risk and assurance (SRA) services across the business. You will provide expert advice that strengthens compliance, enhances operational performance and supports safe, reliable service delivery.
Lead a team of SRA specialists, championing a proactive safety culture, influence positive behavioural change and oversee initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in safety performance, operational effectiveness and organisational capability.
Work in a dynamic and highly regulated environment, driving continuous improvement through assurance, coaching, mentoring and capability uplift programs, ensuring the business is equipped to manage risk and meet its operational accountabilities.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an experienced SRA professional who can build trusted relationships, influence at senior levels and translate strategy into practical operational outcomes.

About You
Demonstrated leadership experience within a complex, high-risk and/or high-reliability operational environment.
Strong expertise in one or more of safety, environment, quality or risk management disciplines.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive positive safety culture and behavioural change.
Experience leading assurance, compliance or continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes.
A collaborative leader with the ability to coach, mentor and develop high-performing teams.
Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent industry experience, in a relevant discipline such as safety management, auditing, assurance or risk.
