POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
As a recognized authority and subject matter expert, develops and implements challenging new market / business development plans, which will meet business goals of providing the best varieties possible for customers, as well as considerably expanding customer base in the sales area. May provide guidance to the support team for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. Evaluates new products with an effective trialing program to identify products to be recommended for advancement to meet the needs of the target market. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments. The amount of time spent on sales vs. product development functions will vary based on the location of the TSR, business strategy and market requirements. This position will manage Technical Sales Representatives and coordinate with the PD team for the specified territory with the objective of developing a range of vegetable seed products and sales, with the proper market knowledge, while increasing market share, managing profitability of the region and enlarging the grower base, grower shipper base, and any other possible customer base of the Business Unit of HM.CLAUSE within the scope of the defined commercial strategy including efficient distribution channel(s).
