What You’ll Do
- Support the Director and Senior Team with the day-to-day management and smooth operation of the service, including helping lead and support a team of 14 educators
- Lead, supervise, and inspire children in a safe, engaging, and caring environment
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider school community
- Assist with programming, planning, reflection, and evaluation to ensure high-quality, child-centred experiences
- Contribute to administration, compliance, and quality assurance processes, including documentation and record-keeping
- Help source resources, complete shopping, and maintain a well-stocked, welcoming, and organised centre environment
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to support your growth and leadership journey
What We’re Looking For
- Current Working With Children Check (required)
- Current First Aid and Child Protection qualifications (preferred)
- At least 2 years of Childcare experience and/or qualifications (Primary School-aged care highly regarded)
- A driver’s licence (preferred)
- Strong communication and administration skills
- Reliability, initiative, and eagerness to develop into a senior role
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a strong work ethic
The Details
- Job Types: Casual, Part-time, Full-time, Permanent (flexible and open to negotiation depending on applicant)
- Hours: Minimum 25-38 hrs per week (negotiable)
- Pay: $37.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) + service offers Worker Retention Payment as well as staff bonus scheme
- Location: On-site in Epping, NSW, with some hybrid work options (administration tasks) available once established
